Guided Boat Tours | Archaeological Sites | Nature Walks | Group Adventure | Wellness & Tranquillity

Commercial Hire | Under Water ROV

Explore the Ring of Kerry’s stunning landscape and coastline onboard Kerry Aqua Terra’s custom-built, wheelchair-accessible passenger boat “The Navigator” for an unforgettable tour experience on the Skellig Coast.

The Skellig Coast’s Church Island 1hr Tour

Enter another world to the remote and spectacular Church Island.
This small and beautiful island is home to the early ruins of an early 6th-century Monastery located on the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry. Onboard, you will discover a restored 6th-century monastery, where peaceful Irish monks lived their lives on the Skellig Coast to then encounter the invasions of Vikings from the Atlantic Ocean.

Private Boat Charter 2/3hrs

Don’t fancy a tour and want your group to do something fun and different? Why not book a private group adventure for 2/3hrs. This involves pick up, a cruise through Valentia harbour and two stops, where you can enjoy a short walk or explore the local establishments (this will be discussed when booking via phone or email).

Valentia Harbour 1.5 hr Tour

Embrace this special opportunity to explore Valentia Island’s history and culture by crossing the Wild Atlantic Way through an expert Captain and crew. As you cruise through the harbour, your guide will take you back in time on an adventure to when the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable joined Valentia Harbour to the shores of Newfoundland, Canada, across the Atlantic Ocean. Marvel at the dramatic landscape of the harbour and lighthouse views that are filled with myths and the historical struggles between Monks & Vikings during the 6th, 7th and 8th centuries.

Pirates of Dingle Bay Cruise 1.5hr

Suitable for 14-year-olds upwards!

Unleash your inner pirate as you set sail with the Captain and crew on board ‘The Navigator’ for an unforgettable journey through Valentia Harbour & Dingle Bay. Discover the Golden Age of the Pirates along the Skellig Coast and be transported through history by stories of smuggling and lies that even the local revenue could not define. Experience a deep connection with the natural world while watching a West of Ireland sunset filter over the dramatic beauty of this magical landscape.

Winter Dark Skies Cruise 1.5hrs

During the evening dusk, explore Kerry’s International Dark Sky Reserve along the dramatic landscape of Valentia Harbour and Dingle Bay. Prepare to be amazed by the only Gold Tier Dark Sky Reserve in the Northern Hemisphere (one of only three in the world). Sail onwards through the gap of Valentia Harbour as the Atlantic sky opens into a vast expanse of shade and light that gleams like bright jewels. Removed from the distractions of the world, give way to this awe-inspiring visual beauty and the mystical sounds of the sea and waves crashing off the cliffs.

Kerry Aqua Terra

We recently attended an event with @discoverireland.ie to showcase Kerry Aqua Terra, and there was no better place to hold the event than the new Portmagee Whiskey Experience Centre!

The event was so much fun, and it highlighted some of the very best attractions and experiences on Kerrys Wild Atlantic Way. 🌊 💚

The evening was a great opportunity for us to promote Kerry Aqua Terra alongside our fabulous neighbours, @portmageewhiskey, @mcgillsbrewery , @atlanticirishseaweed Atlantic Irish Seaweed and @skelligsix18

Well done to all involved it was such a great evening with great chats and laughs throughout!

Kerry Aqua Terra

Cruising at speed onboard 'The Navigator' through the 2023 season was an absolute blast for us! 🌊 💚 🤩 🏝

The picturesque views combined with our outstanding guests throughout the season made every trip an unforgettable adventure for us. This has left us with great memories that will keep us energised through the winter!

As the boating season starts to slow down, we will be reducing our scheduled tours. However, we will continue to operate when the weather is agreeable to enjoy our 'Valentia Island Experience' tour around the harbour.

We had such a lovely day with Pat taking us out to Beginish Island for a short hike. We contacted him at short notice and he totally accommodated us and what a morning we had. Beautiful place, we saw seals, a viking settlement and one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen... and Pat was so informative on the local history too! What a gent! Looking forward to our next trip...

Interactive, informative, and really beautiful tour. Amazing way to see this stunning landscape and learn some history. On a visit to Kerry from New York, we took a Kerry Aqua Terra tour last October. It was brilliant from start to finish. The group was small, so the tour felt really personalized - we learned a lot of information, and had any questions answered expertly. Visiting the islands off the coast was so enjoyable and stunning, and we had no idea they were so steeped in history. The scenery around the coast of Kerry is mesmerizing. We highly recommend this tour if you want a intimate and informative experience, with really knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides. We will definitely do another tour when back in that part of Ireland!
