Marine Park Wildlife Tour
Embark on a remarkable journey through Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara, Ireland’s only Marine National Park, a pristine sanctuary where diverse marine life flourishes in its natural habitat. Your adventure begins with a serene cruise past the Valentia Island Lighthouse, a timeless beacon that guides ships along this rugged coastline. From here, your voyage continues towards the breathtaking Fogher Cliffs, towering over the Atlantic at the base of Geokaun Mountain, one of Valentia Island’s most striking landscapes.
As you sail, discover the hidden caves and serene inlets of Doulas Head, where nature has sculpted dramatic features over centuries. The skies are filled with life, from the seasonal arrival of gannets, puffins, razorbills, and kittiwakes to the elusive manx shearwaters gliding through the air. Below the surface, the waters are often graced by playful dolphins and the awe-inspiring presence of whales, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience.
Aboard the Skellig Bounty, your dedicated crew ensures a safe and enriching encounter with the Wild Atlantic, where every moment is designed to deepen your connection with the marine world. This is a rare opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Ireland’s coastline, leaving you with memories to cherish long after your time at sea.

EXCELLENT Based on 153 reviews Posted on LaurenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour was fantastic. The boat was comfortable and Brendan and Elizabeth were lovely. Elizabeth has clearly put a TON of work into her historical/geological/animal research and the love and care very much shows. The ride was surprisingly smooth for October. 11/10 do this.Posted on Lee HusseyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Elizabeth and Brendan were amazing! Une superbe excursion Des sensations sur le trajets et nous avons adoré la beauté le l île. Le capitaine et son adjointe etaient très sympa. Que du positifPosted on Miriam VennTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Philippa BrennanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just an incredible experience. Took part in a Skellig Michael landing tour, booked via a third party. Was extremely lucky to find myself onboard the Skellig Bounty! As others have mentioned, the boat is brand new - and frankly miles above the other boats I saw that operate on this route for the same prices. The seats were incredibly comfortable and there was space to stand out the back for better views if you wished. Elizabeth & Brendan were wonderful hosts - equal parts friendly, informative, fun yet safety-focused. At all times I felt safe, comfortable and happy during my time with them. I cannot say enough good things and would highly recommend this company. To top it all off, they even made sure we had good weather and saw a pod of dolphins on our way back....just going above and beyond....!Posted on Albin ShajiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an absolutely wonderful trip around Valentia Island! From start to finish, the team made the whole experience unforgettable. They were incredibly supportive and welcoming, and it never felt rushed—they were enjoying the adventure right alongside us, which made everything feel so relaxed and fun. Elizabeth was an outstanding guide. She explained everything so clearly, bringing the history, sights, and surroundings to life in a way that was both interesting and easy to follow. Her passion and knowledge really added so much to the trip. The highlights of the journey were truly breathtaking—watching dolphins play in the water was an unforgettable sight, and exploring the magnificent cathedral cave in the cliffs was absolutely magical. The combination of natural beauty, adventure, and expert guidance made this experience so special. It wasn’t just a tour, it felt like sharing an adventure with friends who genuinely cared that we had the best possible time. Thank you so much to the entire team for making this such a memorable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valentia Island—you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Momo GarzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
