Add to this the pleasure of the navigation on a small and fast metal boat. We even met a couple of orcas ! Don't forget to bring a warm jumper and a raincoat - the wind is cold at sea even in the summer. But some blankets are provided !

We had a wonderful tour around Valentia, our guide was so expert and entertaining. As well as hearing a about the history of Valentia we visited caves to see star... read more fish and Begnish Island to view the seals. All members of our party (grandparents and toddlers included) loved every minute of it. Cozy blankets were available onboard to keep everyone warm as the boat can get quite fast at times. All good fun.

Very professional service, with a fine boat, safety equipment, and someone the best audio aids I have used to date in termsof both technology and content.
We had mixed weather, but Elizabeth's energy kept everyone upbeat and happy for te duration of the tour. Dolphins flanked the boat and jumped alongside our starboard side all the way past Puffin Island. The day was a tonic for the mind, soul and spirit!

From the get-go, the attention to detail was apparent. The provision of blankets was a thoughtful touch that kept us warm and dry, a genuine comfort, especially with the unpredictable weather we occasionally face!

Our guide, Elizabeth, was a veritable fountain of knowledge. Her ability to adapt our route, skirting an oncoming raincloud, was indicative of her professionalism. Super impressed!

A special highlight was watching my toddler nephew getting a chance to "drive" the boat. His joy and laughter were infectious, and it became a moment the entire family cherished.

The breathtaking views, and little history lessons made the 90 minutes fly by.

For both locals and visitors alike, I can state without hesitation that the Valentia Island Tour is an absolute must-do! This tour has our wholehearted recommendation.
